Pioneer Clubs is coming to Calvary Chapel of Marlton!
2 Wednesday nights/month: 6:30 – 8:15 pm
Starting November 6
- Christ-centered and Bible-based
- Meaningful Bible Exploration
- Scripture memory that connects to the Bible Exploration
- Educationally sound and age-appropriate curriculum
- Participative games and learning activities
We offer Pioneer Clubs for both boys and girls in grades 1-7. Boys and girls will be meeting in separate groups and organized by grades as the program grows, with 2-4 leaders per group.
We chose Pioneer Clubs because it focuses on all areas in which children grow – social, physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual. All club members wear a simple uniform vest on which they attach their earned badges. They also have a handbook to work in at every meeting. At every meeting club members take part in badge work that can include projects, games, skill building activities such as drama, cooking, woodworking, science, drama, sportsmanship. Important parts of each club meeting are Bible exploration and Bible memory, where children learn about God’s love, Christian values and learn to apply the Bible to everyday life. We may also participate in fun outings such as canoeing, Christmas Caroling, bowling, fall hayrides and camping! Families are invited to attend these special times. Trustworthy, caring club leaders love children and are positive role models. All leaders are required to complete a background check to ensure the safety of everyone.
OUR FIRST KICK-OFF MEETING will be held Wednesday, November 6 from 6:30-8:15 pm in our educational building.
Your child is welcome to attend the first meeting before deciding to join. If you decide to have them join please sign-up soon after the first meeting so we can order the supplies and uniform for your child. The cost for new members is $40, which includes a vest, 2 handbooks, club t-shirt, 2 initial club patches, memory verse packet and a tote bag.
If you think Pioneer Clubs is a good match for your child, or for more information please call the church office at 856-983-1662.
